Members of Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT), a youth-led
anti-tobacco advocacy group, had a press conference Friday at the
Sheraton Safari Resort in Orlando to raise awareness about their
latest advocacy initiative, "What Would You Do for $51 Billion?
The campaign, which responds to the $51 billion in profits made
in one year by one tobacco corporation, was designed to raise awareness
of tobacco industry tactics to gain public trust.
In addition to the press conference, members have promoted their
campaign through posters, street marketing, movie slides, billboards
and radio spots throughout the state.
